to a blockade of the NFL?
after reading 10-15 articles on the subject I think that if in 2011 the owners would lose leverage more money by using the franchise tag and things. So why did the owners lock the players want? would make more sense if the players were resisting because they have a pay cut … what am I missing?
I'm assuming it is the Owner DeMaurice vs Smith (Director of the NFLPA). The owners want a slight reduction in wages and decrease the rookie pay scale so that you can not do Rookies 594750974309 million dollars without playing a below. However DeMaurice Smith is freaking out because he believes the owners are trying to scam his players despite Kevin Mawae (President of the NFLPA, and now Centre Tennessee Titans) has said that he is in favor of these pay cuts. Smith DeMaurice however, is paid by the players for which it refuses to give owners what players are allowed to do including the freshmen though he said in a previous conversation before this season that his owners until it does. So basically DeMaurice Smith is the worst that can happen ever to anything that involves football.
